I Tried Walmart’s Brand New Natural Cruelty-free Clean Skincare !
Earth to skin is Walmart’s newest product launch based on affordable clean natural beauty. There are 4 lines of products available : Honey, Super Fruits, Tea Time and Super greens. I was really excited about trying these as they were available in my local Walmart, let me just say not bad at all !
The honey line is one of my favorites, its centered around calming, moisturizing and soothing ingredients which are great for dry skin. I live in the hot, sizzling and dry Las Vegas desert. The climate here is unforgiving and can dry and change your skin in a matter of days so, constant hydration is a must.
The Honey Manuka leaves my skin feeling clean and not tight at all. It’s moisturizing as it helps draw water into my skin and protects my skin barrier. This cleanser doesn’t feel striping on my skin and smells divine like just honey. I use this as part of my morning routine when I wake-up if I need to or, after my workout to invigorate and help my skin stay strong. A con about this product is that it doesn’t get rid of tough/heavy makeup so a two step process is recommended . Manuka honey is known to have anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which are good for fighting acne and replenishing sensitive skin and my face loves that. The hydrating Honey Manuka Toner is so soothing and it’s almost milky in consistency. It dries clean without leaving a tacky feeling; my skin felt soft and moisturized due to the different emollients working together. This is a great toner for those days when you are on the go and need a simple fast routine. The Honey Manuka Day Gel and the Honey Manuka Night Cream are both straight forward moisturizers. The Gel cream is a very light consistency and it’s perfect for summer or if you have oily skin. Because I live in the desert my skin prefers something a bit thicker to lock in my moisture and hydration; however, when I use it I make sure to pair it with other creams to seal my skin. The Night cream is thick and I like how moisturizing it feels. both of these creams are very similar in ingredients and they don’t feel heavy or greasy on the skin either. With the night cream I like pairing it with an overnight mask to get the best hydration I can get.
Tea Time is focused around ingredients which are firming, anti-aging and pore refining. This product was centered around green, white and black tea’s and they smell lovely too. The Tea Time Cleanser is formulated similarly to the manuka honey cleanser but because of the properties found in white tea it helps the skin detoxify, restore and keep hydrated. Again I would and do use this as a gentle cleanser in the morning if I need to, or after a workout to help my skin and detoxify and help shrink my pores. Green Tea Toner is wonderful, and I personally really enjoy this toner. Helps balance PH levels, firms lifts and helps skin turn over due to the properties found in mushroom extract. This is like water for your skin, I personally really like the way that it makes my face feel after I have used it. The day and night cream are very similar in terms of the texture, they are both thick in consistency. The day cream leaves my face feeling moisturized and supple, it also smells great. The night cream is very similar to the day cream and it does the job; however I do put an overnight mask or another cream over to lock in the hydration.
The Blueberry Super Fruits exfoliating cleanser is one of my faves. Blueberries are full of great anti-oxidant for the skin and the glycerin acts like a moisturizer leaving my skin feeling clean, fresh and bouncy. I also like the exfoliating beads as they are gentle and not abrasive to my skin. Finally, the super fruit avocado overnight mask is super gentle; it’s thick and moisturizing, and as an introductory product it’s great. I find that it doesn’t sink in as fast as I would like even though I have combo/dry skin but if you need a lighter mask this is for you. All in all, Earth To Skin is a great beginners line if you want simple straight forward gentle products this is for you. I find that it works great for morning or right after a workout as it keeps my face fresh!
